This episode looks at ever-expanding families, meaning more money from the government and larger houses as well. Peter Rolf, aged 64, is a father of 22 children to ten different women. The older children now have kids of their own and have also become dependent on benefits. Peter, himself is a full time carer for six of the children. We follow his story, as he battles the council for a larger house and more money. Marie Buchanan is a single mum of eight children. After splitting from her partner recently, she is now completely dependent on benefits. She’s been offered a bigger house, but none that she’s seen are meeting her standards. We also meet the Fisk family, who are battling against their neighbours, as their two homes are been combined into one, to house their 13 children.
